The inn provides children's meal options for younger guests.
Cons
Some rooms lack wardrobe space, offering only hooks for hanging clothes.
Traffic noise from the street can be heard in rooms facing the front.
“It's a welcome surprise to find such a characterful 15th-century inn so close to the city centre; the convenience of on-site, complimentary parking is a significant bonus for navigating York. The generously portioned cooked breakfast is a standout, setting you up well for the day's explorations. This place genuinely oozes history and atmosphere, making it a rather distinctive base for enjoying the city.”
